Tim, the owner and jeweler, has been in the jewelry industry since the age of 14, bringing decades of experience and a passion for helping customers celebrate life's special moments.
We offer jewelry and watch repairs, including ring sizing, soldering, watch batteries, crystal and movement replacements, pearl stringing, and custom jewelry design. Whether you're restoring a treasured heirloom or creating something completely unique, we're here to help.

We buy gold!
We purchase gold as scrap only, meaning we buy the gold itself—not any diamonds or gemstones that may be set in the jewelry. If your item contains stones, we will remove them and give them back to you.
We also buy and sell gold coins and gold bars based on the current gold market price. You can view the live spot price of gold on kitco.com (note: the gold market is based on 24k). A $78 government fee applies to each gold coin and bar transactions. This fee is deducted from our offer when purchasing gold coins and bars and added to the price when selling them.
Our inventory of gold coins and bars changes daily, so availability may vary.
Please note: We do not buy or sell silver, silver coins, or old currency.

Watch Repairs
We change watch batteries on site while you wait for $8 for normal size and $16 for bigger lithium batteries.
We also replace crystals, movements, stems, and more but prices vary depending on the watch.
Ring Sizing
We do silver and gold ring sizing.
Our gold resizing prices are a flat rate of $75 for downsizing and $85 for the first whole size up and an extra $30 for each size after.
For our silver resizing our prices are a flat rate of $35 for downsizing and $45 for the first whole size up and an extra $15 for each size after.
Platinum and Gold Plating
We offer Platinum and 22k Gold Plating on silver and gold jewelry.
We sell a plating card which is where you buy it for $95 and you get three free dips or a one time dip which is $75.
Appraisals
Protect your valuable jewelry with a professional insurance appraisal from Cumberland Gold Jewelry. Our jeweler, Tim, is a GIA Certified Diamond Grader with decades of industry experience, providing accurate and detailed appraisals you can trust.
Each appraisal includes a thorough description of your jewelry, including the item's details, diamond clarity and color grades, total diamond carat weight, and the piece's precious metal weight (DWT). We also determine a current replacement value for insurance purposes and provide a written appraisal that can be submitted directly to your insurance company.
Appraisal services are $55 plus tax per 3 items on each page. You will have to leave your jewelry with us because we will have to throughly clean your pieces before we are able to accurately determine the diamond clarity and color. We do offer verbal appraisals (not for insurance) which is free of charge (unless if it is a very big amount and takes a lot of time to do).
Pearl Stringing
We offer pearl restringing at Cumberland Gold Jewelry. We do it in house! Pearl restringing without knots is $40, and restringing individually hand-tied knots is $75. Every strand is carefully restrung to ensure each knot is secure, evenly spaced, and beautifully finished!
