At Cumberland Gold Jewelry, all of our jewelry repairs are completed in-house by Tim, the jeweler. We never send your jewelry to an outside repair shop, so your pieces stay with us throughout the entire process. At dropoff we provide a picture and description of the item(s) you left with us and once your repair is completed, we take an after picture. This allows us to provide faster turnaround times, maintain the highest level of care, and give you peace of mind knowing your jewelry is in trusted hands from start to finish.

Tim, our jeweler, does all of this in house! Our turnaround time is longer on custom pieces because it takes time and precision to create your new piece! Our custom pieces start at $250!

We offer free jewelry cleaning while you wait! If you have several pieces or if your jewelry needs a deeper cleaning, you may have to leave it with us for a few hours. We also sell professional jewelry cleaner for just $15! It’s safe for all silver and gold jewelry (besides pearls, opals, and cameos) and lasts for months! Also do not put strung pearls in any liquid cleaners for this will rot the cord or string that it is knotted with and make the string brittle and break, they will need to be restrung if that happens (dry cloth cleaning only).

Most jewelry repairs are completed within 5-7 business days (sometimes sooner), unless special parts or materials are needed to be ordered. Watch repairs may take a little longer if replacement parts are required. We’ll always let you know at drop off if your repair requires additional time or if the part we have to order if backordered.
